I love this extension except sometimes the number of unread mails doesn't get zero even after I read all unread mails.

This is a piece of crap! I have to login to gmail every time I open Chrome... I'm having the gmail as a pinned tap which lights up when I have new emails. This should work with the login from chrome which lets u sync chrome or at least independently so you can open other tabs with other gmail accounts and still see if you get new email in your own account.

One useful addition would be a "Refresh" option in the right click context menu, so that you don't have to wait for it to automatically update after you have read you mail.

Worked great, but it doesn't work anymore so i will not give the extension a higher rating than 2 unlike everyone else. It now only serves as a shortcut (1 click less for me). if it gets fixed i will change my rating

I use this as a shortcut to get to gmail and to find out when new mail arrives, but lately its been giving the greyed out icon until I click on it to go to gmail. I've cleaned cookies, still doesn't work properly.

If the checker adhered to (or at least provided an option to enable) the ability to only show "priority" emails, I'd give it 5 stars. Or better yet, display priority/other (1/4). Odd to see the plugin not support their own feature.
