ich bin mit dieser Erweiterung sehr sehr zufrieden
Bis jetzt blockiert er alle Tracker und Werbung, auch bei Yoututbe! Super Programm .... Sehr schnell ist er auch noch, wenn ich das mit anderen Programmen vergleiche, pffff ....
Habe Ghostery seit Jahren im Einsatz, erstklassig!
Ghostery is or may have been hacked late today on: 1/27/2026? It is performing malicious acts while users are logged into Yahoo! Mail? Please see & read below. Norton Threat Secured We prevented your Connection to cow.huntforenenst.com because it is a dangerous webpage. Threat type: Miscellaneous - This is malicious software that could harm your data, computer, or Network. This was all stemming/coming from the Ghostery Web Extension as I just found out!! This malicious activity detected by Norton thank goodness, was suspiciously happening only while I was logged into Yahoo! Mail in which Norton blocked 36 Connection Attempts & notified me many many times over. Once I disabled each and every one of my Google Chrome Web Browser Extensions to try to get the detected Threat Alert from Norton to Stop constantly popping up in my Left Hand corner of my Screen; it did suddenly stop and all was good only until I had tested each and every Chrome Web Browser Extension by slowly re-enabling them to see which one was or may be causing this Security Alert from Norton all and only while logged into Yahoo! Mail? The turnout was then clear to me right then and there that it was and the Ghostery Web Browser Extension that is or had just been hacked or infected here late today on, 1/27/2026 because Norton has never alerted me in this way about this until just today with a whopping 36 Alerts and Connection Blocks... I am now uninstalling it from my Google Chrome Web Browser immediately for my own safety!!
Generally pretty good but needs to release updates more frequently to keep up with websites that finds ways to shove their ads past Ghostery
Youtube seems to be onto Ghostery the last few days: Youtube is not loading successfully. (Jan 26 --> March, 2026) --> Ghostery is more functional on YT, but YT still chokes off a few times a day, requiring a restart. Still, I am not seeing ads: this is good.
