SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

Makes watching ad heavy channels like Linus Tech tips ACTUALLY VIEWABLE without the constant sponsorship spam. Whoever made this, you're a genius. Thanks! Edit 3/24 - Looks to be working again! Back to 5 stars. Edit 3/20 - Docked 2 stars because the app broke. Giving 502 errors, disabling the one function this extension actually had. Devs, fix your servers. It no longer works. Edit 6/3 - Works again! 5 stars! Edit 11/2 - Sike doesn't actually work again. 502 errors once more. Devs, fix your servers. It no longer works.

Perfect, does what it says.
Just very helpful so I don't have to watch stupid raid sponsors
The developer no longer knows how to run their server. Getting 502 errors 90% of the time I try to submit a segment, so I have to leave those videos behind most of the time. Seems they finally updated their status page but I got my message deleted when I asked them about it so I'm out. This extension was amazing while it lasted but I don't think it's going to survive much longer. Only use it if you will never submit any segments.

Попробывал. Новый тип рекламы в ютубе не убирает (там где надо нажать "пропустить") А есть такие видосы где за пол часа штук 15 таких. Исчезает панель спонсорблока и надо ждать или жать "пропустить". Перед видео тоже рекламная явставка. В самом видео вставка рекламы показывает зеленым. Увы это не то расширение. Адблоки не сравляются.
This morning, no longer working on Youtube on my Windows 10 machine. Chrome browser: Version 88.0.4324.190 (Official Build) (64-bit) I don't know what happened.., but it seems the latest Chrome update has bugged the extension. Can the DEVs please look into it? It still shows the icons on videos, but no behavior.
