SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

SponsorBlock reeks of elitist, preppy brats—smug, dull-witted jobsworths obsessed with control. What began as a clever concept has spiralled into petty ego wars, where one slip-up—or a few—could shatter your faith in humanity. Now it’s a mess, enforcing a sadistic perfectionist’s rulebook at gunpoint. Don’t dare offer help submitting—you’ll regret it. Scrap the leaderboard feature! Some of the worst offenders I’m targeting in my review are plastered on it, unhinged lunatics treating this thing like some twisted game of popularity. They are making the app dead! This is aimed at the admins and mods, the behind-the-scenes politicking that poisons this once great app. The summit segment practically shrieks, 'READ THE GUIDELINES!!!'—a tiny, glaring peek into how much they truly value your help. Don't give them your time, best avoided.

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
