SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Works perfectly. What i particularly like is the extensive customization possibilities. Of course not EVERY video has already been flagged with sponsor segments, but that's to be expected as this extension relies on the contributions of the user base. 5/5 from me. Thank you for making our user experience 10x better.

OMG! I add YouTube videos to my "Watch Later" list in the morning, to listen all day (PC). One of my daily channel has a long intro plus "Buy Gold" commercial, and it was driving me totally nuts, and it's impossible to skip it while doing yard work with a Bluetooth speaker. This app is a totally completely a game changer T_T. Took me a while to figure out how to submit the "Buy Gold" part, but it started skipping the intro & commercial within an hour or so. I'm so happy I could cry. I normally use Brave Browser on my Android phone for YouTube, but I just switched to FireFox. THANKS MILLIONS!!

YouTube videos contain embedded sponsor reads, self-promotion, intros, outros, and subscription reminders that waste viewers' time. SponsorBlock crowdsources segment timestamps so all users automatically skip these interruptions.

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
