SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

2025-06-28 Not working correctly. When you click on "Start Segment", the next time you click on the app you see "Start Segment" again, but you should see "Stop Segment". No longer works. None of the videos I'm watching today have the colored bars indicating the different things this extension was supposed to remove.

One of the must needed extensions!
Aucun problème, ça fonctionne impeccable! Aucun bug, aucun segment passés qui fait parti de la vraie vidéo... Ca skip n'importe quelle sponso inutile souvent rempli d'arnaques par les annonceurs. Ca nous empêche de chercher à skipper ce moment très désagréable pendant plusieurs secondes. Cette extension est facile a utiliser et vous sauve la vie! Je recommande à tout ceux qui en ont marre des pubs Raid Shadow, Genshin et autre VPN à la noix! C'est l'extension la plus utile de CWB que j'ai pu trouver.
5 Stars!!! Don't review much but you NEED this extension for sure!
Somtimes this extension does not work when you start chrome, but for some videos it just doesn't even detect the sponsors and it is really painful to find the segments!!!
Youtube must lose this ad war. Don't let them win devs!
