SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

I have been using this extension for around 4-5 years, and during those years SponsorBlock has worked flawlessly, Its such an awesome extension, and I recommend it to everyone. And the best part of SponsorBlock is it doesnt just skip sponsors, it also skips Unpaid/Self promotions, Interaction reminders, Intermission/Intro Animations, Endcards/Credits, Preview/Recap/Hook and Filler Tangents/Jokes. It also highlights any member exclusive YouTube videos, and highlights the most important part of any video! And all this is customizable!!! SponsorBlock is such an awesome extension and I really cannot recommend it enough. 5 years of flawlessness

What a remarkable piece of software and a great community supporting it. Do yourself a favour and get this addon, you can auto-skip whatever kind of segment you want, not just sponsors. Endcards, filler, self-promotion/interaction reminders all optional of course. Just excellent.

Absolutely incredible; It's my new favorite! But the only issue is when I activate the extension, the comments section and the "more" section in the "about channel" area on YouTube do not load. Could you please fix this issue🙏🥲? Update: The issue has been solved, thank you very much❤️

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
