Set and manage proxy settings for Chrome browser independently of system-wide proxy configuration

Chrome uses system proxy settings by default, but users often need to configure proxy only for Chrome without affecting the entire system. This extension solves that by using Chrome's native proxy API to set browser-specific proxies.

User opens the options page to configure proxy profiles (host, port, protocol type, PAC script, bypass list, auth credentials). From the popup, user selects a profile and chooses which proxy mode to activate (e.g., SOCKS5, HTTP, direct, system). The extension applies the setting via chrome.proxy.settings API. A toolbar icon indicates whether a proxy is active.
