SingleFile is an extension that helps you to save a complete page (with CSS, images, fonts, frames, etc.) as a single HTML file.

Getting started

- Wait until the page is fully loaded.

- Click on the SingleFile button in the extension toolbar to process and save the page.

- You can click again on the button to cancel the action when processing a page.

Absolutely amazing extension I've been looking for years! Previously I've been trying to archive web pages as PDFs by printing, but it always didn't work as printing tears everything on pages destroying all formatting. It was a total frustration. Then I stumbled upon this extension which does a perfectly frozen web page's snapshot. I'm thrilled!

It works, but only after I disabled the option "Misc > save pages in background". I'm still looking for an option to either remove the host name from the title or to format the title as host - title.html

When I save a web page that contains many original images, the save fails with the message: "SingleFile error: RangeError: Invalid string length ”, Google shows that it seems to be a nodejs problem. Looking forward to your help, please remind me if you need this page
