SingleFile is an extension that helps you to save a complete page (with CSS, images, fonts, frames, etc.) as a single HTML file.
Getting started
- Wait until the page is fully loaded.
- Click on the SingleFile button in the extension toolbar to process and save the page.
- You can click again on the button to cancel the action when processing a page.

This didn't do anything when I tried it on a very simple page. I only added this because saving the complete web page was no longer settable as the default. I opened the page in a new tab and now it worked. Seems to be very fussy. One good thing is images are added to the html file and not a separate folder.
This is the best way to save web pages. It saves into a single file in standard HTML format, which is supported by all browsers. Formatting is preserved even in complex modern pages.The only disadvantage is an increase in size due to the way images are encoded.
It works like a charm ! I have a limited internet access area, so its helps me a lot.
It works, but the files are really large. An html page with just one picture saves in 3.3 MB. The same page saves in 103K in PDF. I like the html page better, but I don't understand why it's so much larger. I even tried changing the options to remove hidden items and unused CSS styles, but that didn't change much. Maybe storing the pictures as text is really inefficient.

Simply does not work. I do not know why (maybe due to javascript on a page or animated gifs). nonetheless does not work :/
