Enhance your video viewing experience with Picture in Picture

Have you ever wanted to keep watching your favorite videos while doing something else? With Picture in Picture for Chrome, you can. This simple extension lets you keep your video in a small floating window that stays on top of other tabs and apps. You can move it anywhere on your screen and resize it the way you like.

No more pausing to check emails or switching between tabs. Just click the Picture in Picture icon, and your video will pop out so you can continue watching while you work, browse, or chat.

It only takes a few seconds to install. Go to the Chrome Web Store, search for Picture in Picture, and click Add to Chrome. Once installed, you will see the icon in your toolbar for quick access.

Picture in Picture makes multitasking simple. Watch your videos without interruptions and stay productive at the same time.

this extension has malware, it causes google to open amazon links when searching stuff without clicking any link, and its a referral link so they are profiting off of you, I suggest uninstalling and checking for malware... Read Potentially compromised extensions: "Floating Player" on reddit for more information.

Good but would be nice if you could do some basic control like adjusting volume or even going back/forward a few seconds you have to go back to the original tab. Almost there, needs improvement

Works but the floating player is a bit buggy. It popped out the wrong video and was difficult to get the correct tab to float the correct video. A bit limited in UI as well.

Tried this for pip in YouTube TV and it works great! Very easy to use too!

It doesn't have all the options it says it has. You can't change opacity, or play two videos at the same time, or anything apart from detaching the video, really.

03/12/2023 - works fine, noticed the reviews were low and majority were addressing that it does not work but they are incorrect. I went to youtube, chose the newest penguinz0 video, let it play, clicked the extension, it open the picture in picture view, and I could change tabs and even minimize my browser. The video was always on screen and adjustable with a play and pause button and ability to send the video back to the tab so its no longer visible above all apps and tabs. Maybe these reviewers closed the youtube tab thinking it would still play, or closed their browser I am not sure but it works fine for me!
