This extension let you use Microsoft Copilot in Chrome side panel, with context of the webpage you're viewing. Works the same as Copilot sidebar in Edge browser.
What is Copilot in Edge?
Microsoft Copilot is an AI-powered assistant for Microsoft Edge that helps you create, find, and do more on the web. It is designed to be a centralized AI assistant for Edge users, and it can be used to trigger browser-related features by typing in the chat.
Although Copilot is only available in Microsoft Edge browser, this unofficial extension brings it to Chrome browsers! So you can enjoy full featured Copilot in your daily Chrome browser too.

Works great on Thorium, just remember to go to bing.com and sign in.
For my Windows 11 and latest version of Chrome, this extension just works normally, with mostly the same performance as sidebar of Edge. It is nice since I've got used to Chrome with most of my data. However, some little issues for me is that it cannot take screenshot from the webpage, either reading PDF file from Chrome. Hope this extension can still be updated for better performance.

I can see that quite a number have been having issues with the Copilot sidebar but I am not finding the same issues, except for one. I am currently using Google Chrome and find that the page summary for standard written articles and videos is working nicely. Copilot also behaves in the same manner that it does on Microsoft Edge's built in Copilot, however, I have found that I cannot sign in. I don't know how much this limits the experience and for some this will be a boon or they just want to use Copilot without signing in anyway. Another thing to note is that it does lack the insights and compose options but non the less I have rated this five stars because these latter issues may be a limitation of what the developer can work with. It is great to have this excellent tool as an addon for Google Chrome. At the time of writing this review, Copilot even within Microsoft Edge does not have capability to generate images. You can generate images via Bing's website but not via Edge's Copilot so I wouldn't expect that feature for this addon either. Microsoft may change this for Edge and so maybe in future that may change for this addon as well.
