As a journalist and editor, I often need to find a source or publicist's email—and fast. I've tried other tools in the past that have been clunky, given me unverified email addresses and cost a bundle. I honestly had almost given up on finding an affordable tool that could quickly and easily pull someone's email address just from their LinkedIn profile. Then, I found FinalScout!! With the Chrome extension, once I've logged in, I don't even need to open the website or visit my account. Not to mention, they have a free trial that resets each month, which is almost impossible to find for any tech tool nowadays!! The number of credits is obviously limited (I think you can get 20 free profiles per month), but they allow you to buy top-up credits for those months where I need extra emails. It's not fool-proof; occasionally, the extension might be unable to find an email, but it's so rare, that it's barely worth mentioning. I'm terrible with numbers and math, but I'd have to guess my success rate using the extension to find emails via LinkedIn profiles is around 98 to 99.5%. Seriously! I regularly recommend FinalScout to friends, family and colleagues—you can't beat it!!
