FOR THOSE ON OPERA GX! Access your extensions page, click "Details" on this extension, scroll all the way down and turn on "Allow access to search page results". It will not work otherwise! With that being checked, it works like a charm. No more unreliable misinformation!

I'm not sure why this extension isn't working for some other users, but it works great for me. I finally got fed up with Google's AI overview being the first thing I see in most searches and how blatantly incorrect it is most of the time. I'm glad to be rid of it.

Saw a misleading AI overview, while searching how to disable them, gave me a link to a "browser extension" which turned out to only be a website that explained what AI overview was. This was the final nail in the coffin for me. Glad I could turn it off.
