Supurb. Thankyou! Only downside is that this App aught to be redundant. There should be an option to disable AI Overviews from Chrome.

Worked for me as of 15 Aug 2024. Google shouldn't make us resort to using extensions to get away from this problem. Instead users should be allowed to opt out. I have found the AI Overview results not to be very useful and in some cases proved to be completely wrong and a waste of time to look at.
I was hoping for this to work, but I have tested it in google.com and google.co.uk search engines and it does not work.

Doesn't work for me. Tried removing and re-adding it, disabling it and re-disabling it. Sorry, but not working.
So glad I can get right to official sources again without dodging weird summaries
Works perfectly.
This extension saved me!!! I really couldn't search anything anymore without it. However, to make it work, I had to install it manually following the GitHub ReadMe instructions.
It works for me as of July 28. AI recommended.
