Constant pop-ups since implementing changes to its payment plans. Another user review cites similar concerns, to which a Super Agent Dev responded “We show one pop up every two weeks informing the free limit was reached (40 sites a week).” I get shown a pop-up every single day when I open my browser, and occasionally a second random pop-up, which could only be the 40-sites-a-week pop-up notice *if* a different page within the same website (and under the same domain) gets counted towards one's quota. Extension removed. Then re-installed in order to write this review. Will be removed again in favour of Consent-O-Matic. Gave one star instead of two because I'm not entirely convinced that the extension worked—or only did so sporadically—since I still found myself manually denying consent on some websites, even though it should be illegal to be forced to do this 40,000 times for so-called "legitimate interest" third-party muthafckers whose option buttons are turned on by default. As a society, we should be moving away from simply assuming consent has been given, now matter how turned on one appears.

Heaven forbid that someone ask users to pay a reasonably priced subscription fee for an excellent Chrome extension that for the most part, does what it says it will do (automatically handle cookie requests). And I have a suggestion for all of those people who are so offended at being asked to pay...... Stop. Using. It. No one is forcing you to use superagent, and I promise that your computer/mobile device will continue to work even if you delete it. As for the complaints about the pop-up messages from the developer, sending users a couple of pop-ups over the course of a couple of weeks hardly meets the definition of spamming. How about instead of being so over-the-top dramatic about the messages, people just uninstall the extension and move on with their lives? Anyway, I really like superagent because it's simple to set up and it does the job well. And to the team behind superagent, thank you for creating and maintaining it.

I've been using this extension for a very long time and it saves me a lot of hassle. I only received the pop-up about switching to a subscription model yesterday and I thought it was very fair. I don't know how it is we have come to live in a world where we expect other people to provide things for free. I came on here to leave a review because I realised I'd been using this free product and had not offered any gratitude for it. Then I saw all the negative reviews. Wow! I personally did not see the message in the pop-up as "review manipulation" at all but rather an honest statement that nobody can be expected to maintain something like this for free. The offer of a free month in return for a genuinely positive review is a way of giving the customer further time to evaluate the effectiveness of the product. To be fair, the message says: "If you feel superagent is a helpful extension, please consider leaving us a positive review." In other words, it is only asking for people who genuinely appreciate the extension to say so. It is not asking people to lie. My only concern about paying the lifetime subscription (having seen the reviews left in the past few days) is that there won't be enough people who genuinely appreciate the work that goes into this who will be prepared to pay for it and consequently the extension will be abandoned. I for one hope that this extension continues to be developed because I really appreciate it. Thank you. 🙏
