I created the extension to solve the problem with YouTube like/dislike rating system (especially since the dislike number was removed from YouTube). My solution is a convenient star rating system in the form of a browser extension that allows you to rate YouTube videos from 1 to 5 stars and see their ratings.
The difference between the rating systems is subtle, yet significant.
*Star rating* - we associate it with quality. If you see a video rated with 5 stars, you will think it is excellent quality.
*Like/dislike rating* - we associate it with preference. If you see a video that received some "likes", you will think some people prefer it, without necessarily associating it with quality.
More information about the extension is available on my website https://youtubestarrating.ozbot.si
But this is just the beginning.

nostalgic
cool but there should be for users to have a fractional number star ratings
Would be nice if this was made compatible with the CustomTube extension to fully restore the old UI to YouTube.
Doesn't support Invidious or any other alternative front-end, couldn't find any source repositories related to the extension.
wish more people used it lol

Dayum more people need to use this. This is fire. Can imagine how you coded this btw.
