However, a major issue is that prices shown via vsHotel often do not include taxes, fees, or local charges. In many cases, once all additional costs are added, the final price ends up being the same as—or even higher than—what is listed on Booking.com. This makes the comparison somewhat misleading and reduces trust in the platform. Improving price transparency by consistently displaying the full, all-in price upfront would significantly enhance the user experience. Another concern is the clarity around customer support and post-booking responsibility. The company behind the app is a travel technology provider rather than a traditional booking platform, which raises questions about who is actually responsible for managing reservations. In cases such as date changes, cancellations, or relocations, it is not always clear who the guest should contact or what level of assistance can realistically be expected. The terms and conditions do mention customer support for changes, cancellations, and payment-related issues. However, they also state that “Nuitée bears no responsibility for the proper performance of the accommodation provider” and advise guests to contact the accommodation provider directly in case of any problems. This creates some ambiguity regarding accountability and support expectations during the actual stay. Overall, I wish the company success, as the concept is useful, but I would suggest to remain cautious due to the lack of full transparency around final pricing and post-booking support responsibilities.
