This extension auto-detects RSS feeds on the page you are reading and upon finding one will display an RSS icon in the Omnibox, allowing you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe.
The extension comes with 2 feed readers predefined (Bloglines and My Yahoo) but also allows you to add any web-based feed reader of your choice to the list.
What's new in version 2.2.2?
+ Doesn't run in the background all the time, only when in use.
+ Updated to not use a soon-to-be-deprecated API.

Me suscribì a varios feeds y me deriva a otra pàgina en ingles, dònde me piden migrar, etc...con el reader ea mas simple y no tenìa incovenientes. Si alguièn sabe de una alternativa mejor, Agradezco de antemano.

The RSS button stopped showing for some reason. It only worked the 1st day I installed it. Could it have anything to do with this update: ~~~ Version 2.2.2 + Doesn't run in the background all the time, only when in use. ~~~ ??
This extension is not showing up on my address bar anymore. I cant even get to a screen to uninstall it from the Tools menu.
Very easy to add and it works as it should.
Works about 30% of the time.
Makes subscription to a page an easy job. But I can't make it add to my Feedly, what url to use? My Feedly starts but no new subscription is added:(
This does into the emails and does an rss feed?!?! Why would you do this>!>! Below is my first post- thanks GOOGLE! lol I like the RSS Extension from Google- its reliable and always updates when it should. Thats decent! Only problem I have with it, pertains to the fact that I believe there may be an RSS feed on my emails somewhere.... lol.
The best. Simple. Easy. And most importantly, it works. You can even add/customize the readers such as Feedly, since Google Reader is gone.
