I've only had the Browserlock extension installed for a few minutes and I'm blown away by its offerings. You can lock it yourself at any time, or set it to lock automatically after being idle for a while. When you open the browser again, you can choose whether it comes back with the same pages, just a new tab, or other options. One of the features I like most is the "quarantine" mode. If someone enters the wrong password too many times (you decide how many), the browser locks for a period you set. During quarantine, it can also clear out things like cookies, saved passwords, downloads, form data, or browsing history. You even get to pick how much history to delete - just the past day, week, month, or year. I love this extension so far! Finally, some security and a sigh of relief that the younglings and other unwanted eyes will stay far from my personal histories, bookmarks, and other private areas.
