Very useful but why did I have to add an extension to do this? Because Google Chrome developers are a bunch of clowns who decided to disable useful functionality unilaterally and are apparently impervious to feedback from their users.

I like Backspace to go back as a concept (really regretting updating Chrome), but the extension removes the ability to use backspace as a text deleter (like the delete key) on some websites. Removed it for now.

It doesn't completely restore Backspace behavior. Shift+Backspace used to go Forward, and with this extension Shift+Backspace is the same as Backspace. It was this or uninstalling Chrome, though, so thanks anyway.

Nachtrag zur Versionsänderung vom 17.08.2016 Through the last "update" corrections are no more able in Twitter! WHY??? -------------------------- Danke von ganzem Herzen. Die Änderungen hat sich bei mir erst vor wenigen Stunden eingestellt, weil die Fülle an Updates bei abgeschaltetem PC zum Glück sich nicht von alleine installiert. Also nochmals: TAUSEND DANK ☺
