Instagram's desktop web interface does not provide easy access to full-resolution images. Desktopify overlays clickable download icons on images so users can quickly open or save them in high definition.

User installs the extension and browses Instagram normally. The content script runs on instagram.com pages, finds all visible images (excluding header/avatar images), and appends a small styled SVG link icon to each image container. When the user hovers over an image, the icon appears. Clicking it opens the image source URL in a new tab, allowing the user to view or right-click save the full-resolution image. A 1-second polling loop continuously scans for new images as the page loads more content.

The extension is very small (~1.9KB content script, ~450B background script), making the analysis straightforward. No obfuscated code.
The video download feature is commented out (lines 35-41 of content-script/index.js), so it is not currently active.
Cannot verify what the devanco.com tracking URLs return or whether they redirect to a paid landing page, but this does not affect extension functionality.
