It monitors user activity (mouse, keyboard) to track idle state. 5. When the 'Continue watching?' popup appears and the user is idle, the extension auto-clicks the popup container to dismiss it and calls videoElement.play() to resume playback. 6. If the user has actually interacted (moved mouse, pressed keys), the extension allows normal pause behavior.
