You have to close all Chrome windows and then start up Chrome again fresh for this extension to activate. Sometimes, however, it does not stop the playing at all and the video will just play completely if you click on the tab without even clicking on the video. This should be defeats the whole purpose of the extension. Unfortunately, it also takes a second for it to stop the autoplay when a new tab/window is opened or refreshed. This should be improved because it again defeats the whole purpose of the extension. I had to reduce the rating several times as I discovered all of these problems. Forget Autoplay Stopper. We need an Autoplay PREVENTER.

Works! I have 50 tabs w/ 10 YouTube tabs. When I restore Chrome, any YT tab used to autoplay - drove me crazy trying to find which tab(s) were playing. This fixes the problem nicely!

My problem: My headset is connected by bluetooth to my phone & my Mac. Chrome has many paused YouTube tabs. When I hang up a call, one of them starts playing. AutoplayStopper has stopped that, which I like. But now when I hang up, my Mac insists on playing music. How do I fix this!
