This extension saves SO much time and makes FB an order of magnitude less annoying. F.B. Purity gets rid of the clutter and lets me customize my FB experience in ways FB itself cannot. Perhaps the best thing I can say about this extension is that I hardly remember it's even there - it just works, every time and flawlessly. In fact, it's only when FB makes problematic changes in its own software that I'm reminded, usually by a note from the developer that a matching update is in the pipeline, and usually the update appears within a couple of hours or less and is automagically installed by Chrome.

WTH is going on with my FB Purity? There are days I have to add no less than 30 unwanted sites on FBP and they are still appearing on a daily basis. I am so close to getting rid of FB altogether if this is not corrected soon. Wasting a lot of time hiding or deleting posts from Steve on Watch, Entertainment Tonight, Tattoo Page, ABC 20/20. Why are these sites continuing to show up on my page when I have over 20 sites listed that should not be shown?!!

I love all the kajillions of options FBPurity gives users to customize how we interact with Facebook to our exact (or almost-exact) specifications. There are a lot of doodads and wizbangs that I haven't even tried to use but I love being notified when a "friend" has unfriended me or otherwise lost the connection with my page. It helps me keep my page clean and tidy, and the settings I've chosen keep me mostly ad-free - which is a huge blessing. I don't read ads, I don't click on them, I'm not interested in them, and frankly I resent that so many of them pretend to be "news" or "articles" when in fact they're just advertisements. So I'm very grateful that this app allows me to limit the ads I see. I also love that they keep the app updated on a regular basis. Safe secure Facebooking with FBPurity.
