Macht, was sie soll: Reden transkribieren. Funktioniert bei weitem(!) nicht so perfekt wie z.B. die teure Software von Nuance; hat keine dokumentierte Korrekturfunktion, Interpunktionserkennung etc. Funktioniert etwas schlechter als die eingebaute Windows-Funktion - aber die kann nicht jeder nutzen, z.B. weil der Firmenadmin sie (zurecht) abgeschaltet hat. Nervt aber extrem, weil bei jedem Browser-Start das App-Fenster erscheint und einen lauten Pling ausgibt.

I quite like the extension it has saved me a lot of time. One thing I don't understand maybe it's just for me. Every time I pause while I'm speaking it makes a double space. So my entire text needs to be fixed by hand because I have a double space between my vocal pauses. To make you understand that I wrote this review using speechnotes and you can see the double spaces that I am referring to. Aside from that the tool is amazing. Is there a fix for this?

It works quite well. How can I stop this extension to open a tab (with help) every time I start chrome?

It is a quite good extension. There's one problem though. The voice typing can't overwrite/replace blocked text, but it only writes in front of the text instead. I hope it will be improved later on, considering how inconvenient it is.

There needs to be more voice commands for speech to text, such as quotations, capitalization, italics, bold etc.

Despite showing a convenient mic icon to speak when accessing a text box, this extension has an awful speech recognition. I prefer to use the (speech recognition) mic that comes along with the online keyboard from Windows, which has a superb speech recognition with accurate text of my speech. I am an advanced English speaker, by the way; my speech is clear and has been analyzed, time and time again, over the internet with scores that go from 94 to 98 in a scale of 100 max. Thus, there's not an excuse for this extension to transcribe my speech to words having consonants, for instance, I never uttered.
