This is a jaw dropping improvement in productivity for language learning. It is amazingly customizable which means whatever source you need can be added and displayed painlessly. I used to try to stitch multiple extensions together and I still wasn't able to display as much as Definer does all by itself in a compact usable interface. No more copying and pasting stuff to your dictionary of choice!

excellent in every way. one of the absolute best extensions i've ever used - they should be proud. only suggestion would be to fine tune the wikipedia plugin to be able to recognize disambiguations and alternate names to better find the relevant wikipedia page. e.g.) if I highlight "Barack Hussein Obama", I can get his page to pop up on the Wikipedia plug-in, but if I just highlight "Obama", it doesn't take me to his page nor does it ask me if I want to select his, Michelle's etc. (Wikipedia generates a page with all of the disambiguation options when you type something vague, i don't know if you could connect and display it for selection somehow.) This is very helpful with great design! It will be even better if the learning curve of adding custom sources is lower. I still couldn't add cambridge dictionary source into it: tried multiple variations and still doesn't work properly. Such as "https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english-chinese-simplified//definer/iframe?text={str}&lang={lang}"

i started to read a book and there are some words on every page that i don't know the exact meaning now thanks to this extension i can just know the meaning of that word just by double clicking instead of searching on a next chrome tab which result in lose focus while reading a book
