It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

VI ringrazio veramente tanto! Ieri, quando vidi che The Great Suspender era andato a farsi benedire, mi sono preso 4 infarti che non potete immaginare. Difatti, era l'estensione che mi permetteva di liberare almeno il 20% della mia RAM che contiene a malapena 8 Giga di RAM e, durante le videolezioni, la RAM è occupata fino al 80%, per questo The Great Suspender era utilissimo per me e per questo vi ringrazio infinitamente per aver creato questa nuova versione alternativa! Vi ringrazio di cuore
Solid alternative. Easiest way to recover your deleted Great Suspender tabs is to quit chrome, turn off the internet, launch chrome, go to extensions (great suspender should still be there), enable great suspender, launch all tabs from the previous session (they should be there) or export text file if you are uncomfortable launching all the tabs. The lost tabs should now be launched, go back into extensions and disable great suspender, then turn your internet back on. Was the easiest fix I found compared to all other methods.
Thank goodness this was brought back, I cannot live without this extension! I was worried about it being gone forever so I looked it up and found this. I lost all my whitelisted sites but I don't mind starting over again with that. The dark theme also looks proper now and I love it! I'm really happy with this extension. Thanks!
Used to be one of my favorite extensions, now the tab doesn't even load or render and it's just a blinding white blank page. Edit: Working great again.
