uTab is a way to infinity options for customizing the New Tab. Among the most interesting functions you can find the next:

- make as many folders with different bookmarks as you need right on the new tab

- apply dark/light mode

- opportunity to change the background of a start page

- support clocks from 10 time zones

uTab is a unique Start Page where you can add an unlimited amount of folders with bookmarks. Any bookmark or a group of them can be organized in separate folders that contain up to 83 bookmarks. Create different folders with lots of bookmarks that you set according to topics, tasks, users, etc. Rename them, copy, choose the background and organize bookmarks inside of each folder. Upload preview to easily navigate across the many bookmarks folders.

How the heck can I add a bookmark? Looked everywhere but couldn't find an ADD BUTTON or anything similar... removing...

Thank you very much for uTab, it's great for my needs. I agree with many others, the search box should be optional, as a workaround for the Search box I selected a transparent colour for it, so, apart from the magnifying glass and 'search the web', it blends into the background. I love being able to use my own icons for the bookmarks, or a screenshot created by uTab can be used when I'm feeling lazy. The options for the backgrounds are excellent too. In my opinion the implementation of the clocks needs a rethink. I'll have a think myself and maybe be able to suggest something.

It's almost great. How do I make it so the search box auto hides? I hate it when the box stays up all the time ruining the background. I want it to pop up when I move my mouse towards where the box should be.

Even though I've only been using it for about a day, I'd say that I like it. Overall its easy to use and if people don't want the clock, it can be easily turned off in the settings. (Also for those unaware, to add more things to your dashboard, you have to right click on the page you want bookmarked, and then hit "save to uTab") So far, my only complaints is that you cant get rid of the middle search bar, and you cant customize a background slideshow, or slider. But other than that I think its a good extension if you want more things on your dashboard!

Great extension, there's just two features I'd like to see in it: 1/ allow labels to wrap over more than one line 2/ allow me to use a folder of my own backdrops to cycle through

it is a good start page. As the other commenters already stated, it would be good to have the search bar removable per folder. So search bar on the first folder, but not on the second or third folder. another possible option would be: "open bookmark in new tab". This can be done of course by right click on the icon, but maybe this can be set as an option. everything else: super, and fast :-)
