If you were looking for Toggl Button, you're in the right place -> we've just rebranded as Toggl Track, but the functionality of the extension remains the same (and we also switched colors a bit as well).

1. Click "Add to Chrome".

2. Log in to Toggl Track from the extension menu or from https://toggl.com/track/ (tab can be closed)

3. Under settings give the extension permissions to inject itself into the services you desire

Perfect for my needs. I'm an IC with multiple clients. I tend to work in many different windows and apps so it's great to be able to just hit the Toggl Button rather than switch back to the app itself. It's also a good reminder so I don't forget to start the timer.

Absolutely indispensable for contractors, productivity life hacking. It's also an awesome way to CYA in case the proverbial performance scapegoating starts in workplace politics. The famous AMEX slogan is to never leave home without it; TOGGL's byline should be Never work without it.

I like all four ways of logging hours with Toggl. I forget to use Toggl button most of the time because I tend to launch Toggl desktop when working on my computer. I think I will use it more now that one of my employers has started using Basecamp.

The Chrome extension of Toggl is one of the reasons I use Toggl. It reminds you to register what you're doing if you haven't already done so, and it is a very easy way to engage with Toggl.

I do most of my work via the web so Toggl and the associated Chrome extension have been great for quantifying the time I spend on the various work tasks.

The Toggl Button is a really useful tool for work and I'd certainly recommend it. My reason for only giving four-stars is that it can annoying if I'm doing something that doesn't need to be tracked and it keeps nagging! I'd really like the option to dismiss the reminder for a fixed period of time, say an hour. Aside from that, brilliant stuff, thanks!

Best extension for time tracking ever. Keep going with integration. This is why I love and use Toggl.
