SmartCopy assists users in copying and updating genealogical information within Geni. It also provides consistency checking on profiles, as well as quick access to research links and the HistoryLink tools. This tool does not grant permission to use copyrighted content - users are responsible for obtaining any required authorization from the creator of works, such as biographical stories or images.

When it works, it is a useful tool. I am having problems with it. SmartCopy icon will change from blue to grey for unknow reasons.

Very comfortable. Great thought and increasingly growing supported sites. Features are developed on the run and the code is OpenSource. The interface is very pleasant and friendly. Must-have tool if you use Geni.com

has a pop-up ad to start an unknown service for free. I am not going to try any unknown services. Smart-copy has to be uninstalled, it is useless because the pop-up can not be skipped.
