On the advice of Avi I switched my personal backgrounds and loaded them on to imgur and run them from there. since then it has worked perfect. Avi is very responsive and I understand the frustrations of working out the bugs. I will stay with it as I know he is doing his best to work out any bugs and is always very responsive.

Updated 28.02.16 I've become so reliant on iChrome that I even paid the $20 upgrade to go pro. ------------------ UPDATED 16.02.16 Changed my rating back to 5* as everything is fixed and working wonderfully. IF you install iChrome and take the time to set it up, you'll be knocked over by how much you rely on it. Ergo so many people here initially freaked out when the update broke a few installs! -------------------- The latest release must be broken. I spent a good few hours setting up a *perfect* home/tab screen for my workflow, and came to rely on it heavily. Latest release was automatically updated, now that home screen is all gone and I keep having to login on every Chrome open regardless of what PC I'm on at the time. Edited: so there is a bit of a usability bug where upgrading to the new version will ask you something like if you want to load from local settings or load from account. But if you had set up your iChrome a while back you might not remember where you had saved your profile too.

Previously google had a personal homepage. Which they dropped (like so many of their best products) This is a "not as good" version. It does not for example use my home address/ office address/stock and shares etc which android on my phone already has setup ...seems daft to have it saved twice.

Awful. Great concept, poorly executed. I was really excited to try this out. I spent a really long time (hours!) perfecting my home screen... only to have it deleted. I did it a 2nd time, and it happened again. I tried it from another computer...it happened again. (Keeps re-welcoming me, as if I never set up the extension and home screen settings) I searched to resolve the issue, apparently they just did an update today, so there are no helpful posts out there yet.
