To describe content, use the context menu on a specific image, or the Extension keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+I to describe the full tab contents. The description can be copied to your clipboard through an menu item in the context menu, or through the extension popup or Chrome side panel drawer.

You can also change the voice or toggle muting using the Extension Options page at chrome-extension://ogoddjgogmlndofcpkljmmdobjpfdolf/options.html

To access the side panel without the mouse, on Mac press Command + Option + Down arrow. On Windows, press F6.

This extension is fantastic. I've been using it to help with description for complex images and then refine the output for my team of content creators. If it's ever extended to SVG, would love to test it (unless it's already available and I just haven't figured that out). Thank you for creating this!

This is a great tool! I have a few suggestions for improvement. First, the image description should be presented in a dialog box like the one that appears when we go to the extensions and click on Image Describer. Second, there should be an option to ask questions about an image in a chat-like manner for that specific image at that time. Third, the quick description could be improved by adding key details, such as: "A tray of food with a cup of coffee and muffins on plates on the side." This is better than simply saying: "C++ book." for example. Fourth, more languages should be supported. Fifth, an option should be provided for users to define how they want their images described. This would allow for personalized instructions for each user. Thank you for creating this valuable tool!

What a good use of AI. I've been having fun with this. A couple of suggestions; 1. If we could get a text playback of what was announced. 2. This is unable to read <span> with img roles. (im not super dev savy so unsure what to do there) Great work mate!

Thank you for this wonderful easy-to-use and very useful extension. Perhaps one suggestion I could make is to indicate the progress while the user is waiting for the description to come back from Open AI. Depending on the server latency or Internet connection the wait time could be from a one to several seconds. Perhaps beeps or "please wait..."?
