I completely agree that the website kinda sucks. but after playing around for ten minutes i figured it out. I have the A7ii, and install this extension while the camera is connected to your computer and is ON. After it is installed and the camera is on, (make sure you leave the extension installed on chrome) go back to the website PlayMemories and it should detect your camera and should be easy from there.

PSN Gutschein gekauft und eingelöst. In der Kamera wollen Sie trotzdem extra die Kreditkartendaten, wäre ja auch zu leicht gewesen. Ok, dann über den Browser. PC Version wird ohne Nachfrage heruntergeladen, ok Mac Version installiert, Neustart..... nix!!! Warum man es nicht einfach nur im Browser kaufen kann und dann einfach in der Kamera istalliert, erschliesst sich mir nicht, sie wollen eigentlich wohl keine Apps verkaufen :(

Versuche, wie schon so viele vor mir, ein App auf meiner Kamera zu installieren. Werde ständig aufgefordert die obige App zu installieren, installiere sie, dann wieder alles von vorne. Auch in der Kamera selbst ist es nicht möglich eine App zu kaufen, lande immer wieder auf der gleichen Fehlerseite.Totaler Schrott.
