Yes it does require requires an API key I have moved to lynxshort.com and its 100% free
Was great, now everything requires an API key
Forces you to register to T.LY even if you want to use bit.ly only. That's a no-go - DELETED.
I've been using this extension for a few months, and I prefer it to the others. The t.ly links are very short (shorter than bit.ly, which the extension also supports). It saves to the clipboard automatically. There are occasional glitches, but they get fixed quickly.
I use this extension within Brave and ran into an issue with it auto-copying links. Tim looked at promptly after I reported the issue and he communicated the issue. Just today once it was updated, he reached out to me to let me know that it was fixed. It was indeed fixed on the first test. it was amazing to have Tim follow up on the issue within a few weeks with the resolution. I am rational and understand that some issues cannot be resolved overnight and I appreciate that Tim followed up... it's a great extension/service and it's backed by an equally awesome developer.

I like the right click option to create and save in clipboard. But I hate that every time it pops an alert. Very unnecessary Can you remove that or make it optional?
