The Job Tracker is a real game changer. The free version has helped me step up my job application game by keeping me organized without much effort, and helping me to tailor my resume to the specific job descriptions that I'm applying for. I've only been using it for a couple of days now, but my ability to properly apply to a job opening has increased greatly, and the response rate that I'm getting is way up. More employers are reaching out to me for an itial interview than ever before, and I feel much more confident when speaking to them because of my improved resume content and design.

Teal's Job Tracker plugin beats tracking all my jobs in an excel spreadsheet by a mile. Add in the resume builder and the cover letter generator and it's really an excellent good product. The interface is simple to use, learning curve is minimal, and it pulls content directly from LinkedIn with a single click. The skills matching is also really helpful. The parser picks up the occasional "not-actually-a-skill skill", but there is an ignore button that handles that. The cover letter writer is far better than dumping a job description and resume into ChatGPT every time. It still tells the occasional fib, so make sure to look for necessary edits, but in my experience Teal does a better job being honest about, and aligning, your experience and skills than directly using ChatGPT.
