This is quite shite, one of those "we've got a shiny UI and that's about it" apps. Admittedly, when it works, it does what it says on the tin -- well, most of the times. But there's better alternatives out there. It requires you to log in on their website to use it, then logs you out at the very least every hour, just defeating the point of helping you make your life easier. And it's been like this for at least a year, so don't count on it getting any better than that

Updated this for 2026: ok so here's the take: If you read any of this, at least read the end. PROS - both in-page and popout views - dark theme included - built in 'css inspector' - styles stored on cloud linked to your google account - easy to use CONS - editor is lacking basic edit features and autocomplete - inspector is very, very basic and cannot see beyond certain elements (svg, iframe, etc) (no full path, no tag id detail, no info on which class/inline styles are applied to elements - cloud storage is limited and you have to pay for more space - no integration with git (github, gitlab) or other style databases - UI interface features are a bit overstated with excess padding and has delays between major actions - style editor is not live, you have to save to see results Also, and this is every css extension's problem right now, shadow roots have been a thing for a while yet nobody seems to be accounting for their being used in these modern times. Because of this, many stylers and inspectors alike end up not seeing into major parts of a webpage that it could see because it is following DOM and not looking at the page source. "The END" What I wish there was is an editor that had selector completion based on the selectors and ids available in the current page that is being edited, and see/support shadow nodes. That would make things so much easier and would be mega useful. In fact, it would be *SO* useful that whoever decided to implement such features would probably put everyone else out of business for good.

When the extension works, it's great, but my experience since they've required an account has been subpar. The extension thinks I'm logged out every time I walk away from my computer, or just the chrome browser, for more than five minutes. Being forced to click the sign in button so frequently is incredibly annoying, and really hurts an otherwise great extension. Edit: The team working on the extension have fixed the above, and everything works perfectly now! Thanks for the updates.

I have always looked for such an extension I had a bad experience with some websites and as a developer, I'm always using the developer tool to make some tweaks here and there but they're not permanent whenever I refresh the website these changes are gone so with this extension I can make permanent changes!!
