I installed this extension but as you have shown in your screenshots, my email box width is not stretched out like yours, there are much space left and right. How to fix that? Otherwise a very nice extension. I wanted to have a simple gmail, that only has mail and hangout.

Read the FastCompany article and downloaded this extension right away. Here's to hoping this look can make its way to an android app. Very slick interface that really sticks to the name of the extension. Great work on this extension and your work on Inbox, that was my favorite email app of all time.

Works like a charm! So glad I found this... Question, would it be possible to make it so that clicking outside the message window functions equally to the back button like it did in inbox? Would remove unnecessary mouse movement to the top left between every message. Cheerio! Keep up the great work! :D

I can't believe this! I read an article about this extension today on my phone and upon returning home, I installed it. This is what gmail should be! My primary email desktop app is Thunderbird but a lot of message handling maintenance is done using gmail categories. This extension makes gmail useful! Thanks, Mike! A nice gift to the world!

Looks like a great idea but doesn't work too well for me. I have a large monitor which means there is a huge white column in between my label list and email list. Could this be fixed?

Like the cleaner UI. But having the toolbar, especially the back button, all the way to the top left of the page is really clunky. Wish I could just click the top of the opened email to close it kind of like Inbox did. Maybe I am missing something, but I choose easier navigation over looks any day.

Love the idea... 2 problems: 1) Compose button disappeared (maybe replace with a minimalist button?) 2) "All" controls (e.g. check all, mark all read, refresh) above the list shifted so far left that they no longer feel like part of the list they control.
