Without a doubt the best extension here, in my opinion. But now that it has been disabled I will switch to another browser.

I tried 5 different dark mode reader extensions and this is the only one that could handle the weird "invisible" section lines on sites without turning them to a stabbing bright white, or skewing the page entirely. Unfortunately, Chrome version 133.0.6943.142 no longer supports it. I've kept it anyway in hopes they update it to be compatible.

I wish it had a picker, that would like let you click on an area of the page and tell me which aspect of Midnight Lizard would manipulate it. Some pages seem to ignore changes, ironically, the chrome web store being one of them.

I would give this Xtension a 5, but creator seems like it's gonna allow Google to remove this xtension because ''it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.'' Remove that threat admin, and you get 5 stars across the board. Best Extension for screen brightness i've ever seen.

Probably the best of the "Dark Mode" style extensions out there currently, and I feel like it's not even close. There's both global (simply turn on/off) control of the extension via a simple and obvious switch, and then a much more granular and remembered, per site-choice, made clear through a simple check simple (checked if active/unchecked if off for that site), but beyond that, there's immense customization for themes that goes beyond other extensions and just feels right to me for lack of a better term. Finally, it seems to work on the most sites in my experience out of all the extensions I've tried, and doesn't seem to break any of them from what I can tell, so far. Thanks Midnight Lizard developers, from one web developer/software engineer to others! Great work.

Excellent so far. This type of software is vital for many people. Staring at a white screen for some people isn't good. Will try for a few weeks and donate if I choose this extension permanently
