Privacy Test formerly known as C&C App is a small but powerful utility for Chrome and Chromium based browsers. Checks Whether You Have Enhanced Private Data Protection and will Help You to Prevent Tracking of Your On-Line Activity.

Privacy Test - Key Features:

★ Monitors Safe Browsing state to protect against websites, extensions, and downloads, that are known to be malicious.

★ View and Manage sideloaded Extensions - applications that aren't from an official source, such as the Chrome Web Store and possibly installed without your knowledge.

★ Privacy Test > Open Menu > Automatically scans the current tab's URL for malware and other threats by using Safe Browsing and other solutions.

★ View your IP address and current tab's domain IP address and DNS info.

If you have a Google account and you synchronized your Chrome using the account (for passwords, extensions, and so on) the extension could reappear, follow these steps: 1. Go to chrome://settings/syncSetup/advanced and select "Customize Sync" 2. Deselect "Apps" and "Extensions" then remove the extension. After, you can re-enable "Apps" and "Extensions" if necessary.

So amazing that there are devs realieasing free tools like this. I love this extension, it keeps my private information hidden. I will recommend this Chrome extension.

Wish I could give zero stars. This is apparently some kind of malware. I never installed this extension, yet it keeps popping up and asking for permissions. I uninstall it and it keeps coming back. There is a special ring of hell for people who write this kind of software. The reviews are all fake and so are their upvotes.
