Privacy Test formerly known as C&C App is a small but powerful utility for Chrome and Chromium based browsers. Checks Whether You Have Enhanced Private Data Protection and will Help You to Prevent Tracking of Your On-Line Activity.
Privacy Test - Key Features:
★ Monitors Safe Browsing state to protect against websites, extensions, and downloads, that are known to be malicious.
★ View and Manage sideloaded Extensions - applications that aren't from an official source, such as the Chrome Web Store and possibly installed without your knowledge.
★ Privacy Test > Open Menu > Automatically scans the current tab's URL for malware and other threats by using Safe Browsing and other solutions.
★ View your IP address and current tab's domain IP address and DNS info.

very easy and useful, like the untrusted extensions list! Simply the best, an unparalleled privacy application.
I have no recollection installing this extension. Searching for more information seems to indicate this is malware. I'm generally pretty careful about these things, so this is quite concerning. Hopefully it should be removed from the web store as soon Google notices.

Installed itself, it's a malicious program
This extension came out of nowhere. Didn't install "Privacy Test" or "Click&Clean" myself. Shady.

Auto installed itself, very suspicious, probably malware.
Really useful, good malware scanner, been using it for years before as app and never experienced any issues with it. Great job. Now released as extension, because apps was deprecated in Chrome. Best privacy test ever.

THIS IS MALWARE, IT INSTALLS ITSELF UNAUTHORIZED. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET RID OF IT FOR MONTHS. THIS PIECE OF MALWARE GARBAGE IS THE REASON I'LL STOP USING CHROME!!!
