Privacy Test formerly known as C&C App is a small but powerful utility for Chrome and Chromium based browsers. Checks Whether You Have Enhanced Private Data Protection and will Help You to Prevent Tracking of Your On-Line Activity.

Privacy Test - Key Features:

★ Monitors Safe Browsing state to protect against websites, extensions, and downloads, that are known to be malicious.

★ View and Manage sideloaded Extensions - applications that aren't from an official source, such as the Chrome Web Store and possibly installed without your knowledge.

★ Privacy Test > Open Menu > Automatically scans the current tab's URL for malware and other threats by using Safe Browsing and other solutions.

★ View your IP address and current tab's domain IP address and DNS info.

This extension pretends to need authorization for you to continue the last bits of the install. Extensions install almost instantly. Even heavy duty Operating systems take less time to install...c'mon! While it's already been installed this page continually tries to misdirect you into installing their third party app, they have...NEVER DO THAT. In fact never install an app that loads it's own webpage. Security loophole! Go search your uninstall folder and all files for a happy faced balloon called "Iminent". In fact, google "how to get rid of Iminent" Then eradicate it. Other than that, it's a good browser cache app. But you can do that on your own in your Chrome settings. So the spyware is not in the extension...they just manipulate you into installing someone else's adware. It contains very hard to remove spyware that you will need at least one malware removal system to eliminate.In other words...it does the opposite of what it claims to do for you: protect you (but just from "other people's" adware).

Good functional app which does what we are told it will do. That rates a four in my book....it is as advertised. To rate a five anything has to really be outstanding and exceed expectations.
