YOU NEED THIS
This is a must have for anyone on the web3/crypto space. This extension has saved me on two occasions and I couldn't be more thankful. The team is also incredibly knowledgeable about security and ways to stay safe in web3. Their website and their twitter spaces are not to be missed.
I wouldn't be where I am today without Wallet Guard. I played RuneScape for over a decade and got scammed every possible way in that game... Armor trimming, doubling money, item swap in the trading screen, even in the duel arena where they'd say melee fight but then turn on range and use darts and pwn u, that one got me a couple times I'm not gonna lie, that was a sneaky one. But imagine if there were something like wallet guard back then? I wouldn't have gotten scammed. There's a reason I haven't been scammed during my 1,000 days in web3, and it's all thanks to Wallet Guard keeping me safe. It's like the airbags in a vehicle. It's like the railing things when you're bowling that stops the bowling ball from going in the gutter. It's like the beeping noise in your fridge when you accidentally leave it open and don't notice. Do I like to enjoy a few liquor drinks from time to time and operate the blockchain? Maybe. Am I alert and coherent and know exactly what I'm doing 100% of time? Maybe. Do I sometimes get tired from staring at the 1-minute charts for 18 hours a day and get a little fatigued and let my guard down and sign a transaction on a malicious website that an influencers compromised Twitter account tweeted out because their password is qwerty12345? Maybe. But Wallet Guard is always there for me, unlike my ex. My life would suck without Wallet Guard. I would have lost all my magic internet money and monkey jpegs and would be forced to get a 9-5 job that I hate because I'd have to fake laugh at my bosses awful jokes all day and listen to him complain about his wife and kids in hopes that one day it'll pay off and he'll give me a raise so I can buy more magical internet money. Stay safe and download Wallet Guard so you don't have to fake laugh at your boss because you lost all your crypto and jpegs which is completely avoidable with Wallet Guard.
Wallet Guard saved me from clicking on a bad URL. Also love the transaction simulator feature.
