Nice app! It does indeed work in Chrome. Would love to see option to hide labels. And looking forward to dark mode colors.
No longer works in new gmail release. Used to be great. Now it's dead. Do not install unless history version is updated. Last developer update Version 1.2 Updated June 15, 2013

Indispensable and much better than Color Icons for Gmail.
This is great. Like others have said, Google should make these changes standard. The colors are a bit more subdued than in the picture, but they blend well with the rest of the Gmail interface. They GREATLY improve functionality while remaining subtle, like they're supposed to be there.

Great work ! It enhances GMail UI.
Google should make these UI changes to all of Gmail because it makes everything easier to read and well, prettier. I especially like that the button functions are spelled out next to the icons. GREAT extension!
