AI 产品解读Password manager bridge extension that fills and saves passwords from Apple iCloud Keychain in Chrome browser
Enables Apple ecosystem users (iPhone, iPad, Mac) to use their iCloud Keychain passwords in Chrome, bridging the gap between Apple's password management system and non-Safari browsers on macOS and Windows
User signs into iCloud on their device (macOS or Windows via iCloud for Windows). The extension communicates with the native iCloud helper via nativeMessaging to access encrypted iCloud Keychain passwords. When visiting a website with saved credentials, the extension offers to fill them via toolbar popup or in-page autofill. New passwords created in Chrome are saved back to iCloud Keychain and synced across Apple devices. A verification PIN may be required for initial setup.

- 目标用户
- Apple device users (iPhone/iPad/Mac) who prefer Chrome over Safari on desktop / Windows users with iCloud for Windows installed who want iCloud Keychain passwords in Chrome / Users in the Apple ecosystem seeking cross-device password sync in Chrome
- Extension source code is minified (background.js, content_script.js, page_popup.js, completion_list.js) making deep code-level analysis limited, but the locale files and manifest provide clear evidence for all three decisions.
- Cannot fully verify the native messaging protocol or encryption implementation details due to minification.

No payment, subscription, upgrade, premium, billing, license, purchase, or Stripe-related code found anywhere in the extension source. The 'pro' keyword matches are all false positives from non-English locale translations (e.g., Czech 'prohlížeč' = browser, 'pro' preposition in other languages). The extension is a free companion to Apple's iCloud service and does not gate any features behind payment. iCloud itself has optional paid storage tiers but the extension does not interact with payment flows.

- The extension requires the user to be signed into their Apple iCloud account on the device (macOS or Windows with iCloud for Windows) for the extension to access iCloud Keychain passwords. The extension communicates with the native iCloud helper via nativeMessaging and will show download/setup prompts if the user is not signed in or the helper is not available. The extension itself has no login UI; the Apple ID/iCloud account login is managed at the OS/app level.
I'm not going to do a two step login process three times a day to link passwords. Trash extension.
It's a password inputer, not a password manager. I've been trying to phase out my reliance on Google products as I'm just generally getting sick of them canceling products I use and their behavior in general. Was hoping I could switch off their manager and use Keychain but it's not remotely viable. Yeah, it can save and input passwords on a website but that's it. I can't review anything in chrome on the Windows iCloud extension, or really do anything other then go to a website and then use a save/use a password. Chrome's password manager is pretty bare bones but it's feature rich compared to iCloud and Keychain, very disappointed here and guess I'm stuck with Chromes password manager for the foreseeable future.
Aparentemente a Apple só aceita que você use Chrome se estiver no Windows. Caso contrário, precisa ficar copiando e colando a senha do Keychain, ou usar outro password manager.
Added it to Brave (chrome extensions work with Brave). Every time I click the icon, it just wants me to download the iCloud app. I already did before I even installed the extension. I don't get it. It lets me sign in on chrome, but I don't use chrome. Also it turns off my nvidia instant replay every time I launch it on chrome. I don't want it to do that. Terrible app, needs a lot of work to even be considered usable.
Meh. The popup from the system tray is enormous and ugly. Worse, it pops up every time the extension senses a password field. Then it pops down, then it pops up again. Absolutely obnoxious. Can we please have an option to disable the OTP popup until we click the Chrome extension?
No support for Linux.
안됩니다 ^^
I really wanted to use this because I'm already using iCloud for windows, and I kinda trust Apple over most other password keychain things. However, it seems to not work in half of the sites I use, and whenever it decides to work, it generates a new 2FA code EVERY TIME I select ANY field in a new registration or login form. Furthermore, once I finally manage to get the code in (because I can't even see it from how fast it generates a new one), it starts doing the exact same for every field, except now it asks me if I want to save the password or not, even if I already hit "never for this site"; it's like it forgets the setting every time I refresh the site. To make things worse, it also shows the pop-up whenever I use a SSO website, taking up screen space that shouldn't even be used at the time. If it's fixed, I'll definitely use it, just not in the current state.
