Password manager bridge extension that fills and saves passwords from Apple iCloud Keychain in Chrome browser
Enables Apple ecosystem users (iPhone, iPad, Mac) to use their iCloud Keychain passwords in Chrome, bridging the gap between Apple's password management system and non-Safari browsers on macOS and Windows
User signs into iCloud on their device (macOS or Windows via iCloud for Windows). The extension communicates with the native iCloud helper via nativeMessaging to access encrypted iCloud Keychain passwords. When visiting a website with saved credentials, the extension offers to fill them via toolbar popup or in-page autofill. New passwords created in Chrome are saved back to iCloud Keychain and synced across Apple devices. A verification PIN may be required for initial setup.

- Apple device users (iPhone/iPad/Mac) who prefer Chrome over Safari on desktop / Windows users with iCloud for Windows installed who want iCloud Keychain passwords in Chrome / Users in the Apple ecosystem seeking cross-device password sync in Chrome
- Extension source code is minified (background.js, content_script.js, page_popup.js, completion_list.js) making deep code-level analysis limited, but the locale files and manifest provide clear evidence for all three decisions.
- Cannot fully verify the native messaging protocol or encryption implementation details due to minification.

No payment, subscription, upgrade, premium, billing, license, purchase, or Stripe-related code found anywhere in the extension source. The 'pro' keyword matches are all false positives from non-English locale translations (e.g., Czech 'prohlížeč' = browser, 'pro' preposition in other languages). The extension is a free companion to Apple's iCloud service and does not gate any features behind payment. iCloud itself has optional paid storage tiers but the extension does not interact with payment flows.

- The extension requires the user to be signed into their Apple iCloud account on the device (macOS or Windows with iCloud for Windows) for the extension to access iCloud Keychain passwords. The extension communicates with the native iCloud helper via nativeMessaging and will show download/setup prompts if the user is not signed in or the helper is not available. The extension itself has no login UI; the Apple ID/iCloud account login is managed at the OS/app level.
As balanced as I can be: If you use an iphone, this is really handy to have, or even unifying multiple browsers, however there are downsides and issues I have with it. 1. You NEED to install icloud for windows which isn't the best software in itself and feels intrusive to have (Also defeats the point of mixing your tech so you're not caught in a walled garden). They could have avoided it, but alas no. 2. It doesn't actually tell you on the addon menu that icloud for windows is REQUIRED. I had to look up why the addon isn't working. If you see people saying it isn't supported or that it doesn't work, it's because Apple hasn't done it's job properly. I assume the macOS side also has requirements it's forgotten to mention. Besides that, it works well as a password manager/generator. Far too intrusive and annoying to set up for me to give anything above 3 stars, if apple explained how the addon worked better then perhaps I could make this a 4 star review. 5 stars if they remove the need for icloud for windows as well.
WORST plug-in EVER! It blocks input fields. It always asks me the pin code. I'l' never ever use it again!
I had high hopes since this was introduced, but it faulters in a couple of ways. Firstly, you'll have to enter a 6 digit verification code every time you launch the browser, proceeded by your password or touch ID. Secondly, it doesn't allow you to generate or suggest a new password in the browser, you'll have to open Passwords and create a new record. Ultimaltely, I am just going to remove this extension and go back to using the Brave built in password management, it's more convenient and I can sync amongst my devices.
Glad it's working well for some of you. I had high hopes, but when installed it in Chrome on my new Mac Mini it successfully entered the password on the first site I used it on, but somehow corrupted the record in the Passwords app where it recorded what appears to be an abbreviated version of the password. It also seems to cause a conflict with universal clipboard. So, yeah, one star.
Works as expected
i download just now. and i don't know why it's got this lower rating. It seems to work well I'm happy to find it's existing.
Immer wieder Probleme.
