1. the security is laughable - every time you run chrome it asks you to input an apple 2fa confirmation code, and that code just pops up on screen next to it?! whats even the point of it then?! 2. 2FA for all other sites requires you to open the actual app, put in your full password, and then copy/past the code... what a joke!!!

The new version does not work on MacOS 15.3. When clicking on the plugin, it prompts that MacOS Sonoma or a later version is required.
It does a decent job filling in passwords, but I'm docking two stars as it's flooding my console with errors. Every time the focus on the page changes I get this error triggered by this chrome extension's content script: "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'ControlLooksLikePasswordCredentialField')"

If the purpose of 2FA is to verify identity through a secondary device or code, why force users to also authenticate via Touch ID immediately afterward? This dual-layer process adds friction without enhancing security meaningfully. On a MacBook, where biometric authentication is already a robust safeguard, mandating 2FA and a fingerprint transforms a tool designed for convenience into a frustrating chore. The lack of customization here is glaring. I expect flexibility—for instance, opting for either 2FA or biometric verification. Instead, the extension imposes both, creating unnecessary bottlenecks. I urge the developers to revisit this design choice. Simplify the flow, allow users to toggle redundant checks, and prioritize logical security hierarchies. Until then, what should feel like a time-saving tool instead feels like a step backward in user experience.
Chrome's virtual card feature does not work when this extension is enabled. When I turned on this Virtual Card, the extension was disabled.
I think some of the people writing negative reviews don't take information security seriously enough. Entering the code isn't that much of a hassle, considering the main means to access the iCloud Keychain is via biometrics on Mac and iOS devices. Since Google Chrome doesn't have the native hooks into that, this is the next best thing. I think people need to chill out. If it's that big a deal to you, use Safari. I only use Chrome for those sites that require it, which is few and far between.
