iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.
The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

This extension works fine on Windows, but it's not made for Chrome OS. The extension assumes that anything that isn't Windows must be a Mac, so it defaults the user to just use iCloud within the macOS system. It appears that the developers did not consider compatibility for Chrome OS.

It works ok, but it has a major problem: It asks for a verification code every time I open a new Chrome window. Before it was every time I quit and reopened the app... that was ok, a bit annoying but ok... now it asks for it every time I open a new window, even if I didn't quit the app (so it stayed in the background). THIS IS ABSURD AND ANNOYING AF. The correct way to implement this is to ask for the code on every logout/login in the Mac account.

Enable Passwords in iCloud for Windows to use iCloud passwords with Chrome

If a website has a captcha, it automatically refreshes the captcha in the background (i get captcha error )and I am unable to login but if I turn the extension completely off and login only then I can login successfully
Completely broken on the latest version of MacOS Sequoia, "This extension requires MacOS Sonoma to be installed"
At first I thought this didn't work on Arc (Chrome) for macOS, because it wasn't offering up a password, but then I realised I was trying to log into a website for which I hadn't transferred a password from 1Password to Passwords.
