iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.

The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

Downloaded it 2 times now and both times it appears under the extensions tab grayed out with a slash through it. When I try opening it I'm told I must download it. I click "download", then click "open in Microsoft Store" (as required), only to see the option to remove from Chrome, obviously because it's already downloaded. Would be nice if it worked.

*updated 10/1/24 Seems there is now an option to allow Chrome autofill so now I can use Chrome addresses with autofill. *old Works fine but blocks built-in address auto fill and does not provide a way to autofill shipping addresses.

Was working fine up until today. It keeps asking to Enable Passwords in iCloud for Windows. And the iCloud for windows I downloaded before has my old iCloud account name and it's disabled to change that info. However, my Apple ID is correct on Apple and I could sign in on the web. But the Windows client app is not updated with my new Apple account ID. Bug needs fixing.

Constantly needs reauthentication. Good extension but needs verification codes every few hours.

Love the extension! When you open up a new browser (Not just a tab) you have to re-enter a 6 digit code they give you. It's annoying when you're a person who closes their browser a lot. For Windows, you have to download iCloud on it for this to work, and even when you do it takes a couple minutes for it to finally work. Now on my MacBook, the iCloud Password bar that shows up under the password field disappears, and when that happens you need to manually click on the extension and then it shows your password. I hope the Dev fixes this.
