This extension will open a Compose window in Gmail when you click any email address on a webpage. It also provides a button that will create a Gmail message when clicked, using the page title as the subject and selected page text and link address as the message. For setting the domain name of your "Google Apps for your domain" account, click Options.

Switch on from Ibox By Gmail, its have better functionality.
Looks 100x better in the screenshot than it really is. This is LITERALLY just a button that opens a new browser window that then loads your G-mail (and makes you wait while it does so) just to pre-populate a blank email with the link. Seriously Google? Can't it just open an immediate pop-up and send an email based on the Chrome account I'm logged into? Why does G-mail need to fully load first? I'm not READING my mail, I just want to shoot off a quick link.

awesome extensio! Does exactly what it says, one button to pop-open a little window auto-populated with the URL and headline. just type the email address of the recipient (which can be auto-populated too with just the first few letters) and maybe put a little message, and SEND ! All while staying on your web page, keeping your flow.
I love this extension because it automatically composes an email with the website title populated in the subject line and the link to the website in the body of the email. This is what I want and need on a regular basis. When I come across a link I want to share, chrome is awful about making it easy to share stuff.
No more 'cut 'n paste' -- Just, 'Send from Gmail'!
THe mailto doesn;t work and lags after the first day of testing. Not sure if this is an old iteration of the extension but it definitely doesn't work on current Chrome versions :/.
It would be great if you could switch between Gmail accounts too.
